A huge thank you to the wonderful team at for donating 20 pumpkins to Pro-Active Community for our Halloween pumpkin-carving event! 🧡

We all had a fantastic time carving our pumpkins and creating lots of spooky, funny and imaginative faces ready for Halloween! 👻🎃

Big changes over at Pro Active Community! 🎉

At our recent AGM, we celebrated some huge updates as we look ahead to 2027. First off, a massive THANK YOU to our amazing Chair Emma Jane and Co-Chair Michael F. They are stepping down from their leadership roles, but don't worry, they're sticking around to help out with duties until January💙

Huge congrats to Michael M for being voted in as our new Chair, and Matt for stepping up as Co-Chair🌟

We also want to send a massive welcome to Robert, who is officially making the jump to a board member after years of being a dedicated member! 👏

We are so excited to see everyone in their new roles and can't wait to see what amazing things our charity will achieve in 2027 🙌✨

🎨✨ What a fantastic afternoon, spent at Florrie's Cafe!

Hosted by Pro Active Community and brilliantly facilitated by Mel from Arts and laughs, we held a creative session full of friendship, fun, and learning.

Participants explored water-based art techniques, blending beautiful colours and using stencils to create striking silhouettes. 🖌️🌈 The creativity on display was incredible, and it was wonderful to see new friendships forming and new skills being developed along the way.

A huge thank you to Unum for funding this opportunity and congratulations to everyone involved for making it such a success. 👏

🎉 What an Amazing Start to Our LEGO Therapy & Free Build Sessions! 🎉

Yesterday saw the launch of our very first LEGO Therapy and Free Build session, and what a fantastic morning it was!

Hosted by Pro-Active Community, generously sponsored by Unum and delivered by Aleksandra from Caleidoscope, the session brought people together to build so much more than LEGO.

✨ Through teamwork, creativity and conversation, participants had the opportunity to socialise, meet new friends, learn new skills and strengthen connections.

🏗 Building connections is such an important part of maintaining positive mental health, and yesterday's session was a perfect example of that in action.

We'd like to say a huge well done and congratulations to everyone who attended and got involved. Your enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to connect made the session truly special.
