East Surrey Domestic Abuse Service is an independent charity offering specialist confidential support Repeat offenders may also be banned from the page.

Our page helps to raise awareness and support available for those who have or are currently experiencing controlling, toxic and domestic abuse in their relationships with partners or family members. As a charity we also use this platform for fundraising and discussing ways people can help support this lifesaving work. Volunteering with ESDAS is a chance to support people affected by domestic abuse and make a positive difference in our local community.

There are different ways you could get involved, including:
🤝 1-to-1 Support – Help someone feel heard, supported and less alone.
⚖️ Court Support – Provide emotional and practical support to people attending court.
💻 Office & Admin – Help behind the scenes with the day-to-day running of ESDAS.
📣 Ad-hoc & Event Support – Help with events, campaigns and other opportunities.

You don’t need to be an expert. Training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities to build new skills, meet people and make a difference.

Our Friends and Family Group is an online support group for anyone supporting, or worried about, a friend, family member or colleague who may be experiencing domestic abuse.

🕖 7pm–8pm
💻 Online via Zoom
💜 Led by a trained counsellor

Whether you’re looking for guidance, reassurance, or simply a safe space to talk, you don’t have to face it alone.

ESDAS is looking for a Lived Experience Coordinator to join our Our Spaces Project – a National Lottery-funded initiative helping ensure survivor voices shape the future of domestic abuse services across Surrey.

📍 Based in: Redhill, Surrey
🕐 Hours: 35 hours per week
💷 Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per year
📅 Contract: 3-year fixed term, with the possibility of extension

The successful candidate will help recruit, train and support volunteer domestic abuse survivors, ensuring lived experience is at the heart of shaping future services.
