Loads of Men's Shed creations all ready for the Merstham All Saints Summer Fair this Sunday 11.30 to 3pm - on the village green Nutfield Rd, Merstham, Redhill RH1 3EP

Table centre pieces, various chopping boards, flower displays, planters, bird boxes and tables, hedgehog house, bat boxes, small side table... All made in the Age Concern Men's Shed workshop.

Do come along, it's a fantastic local event. While you are there pop by the Age Concern stall to see our shed creations, have a chat and don't forget the famous Age Concern Tombola!

All items at great prices and all proceeds go towards our charity and keeping our day centre running.

This event is run by volunteers.

This was such a fulfilling project for the Shed: making rehabilitation boards for local stroke survivors to help improve motor skills and coordination.

Everyone in the Age Concern Men's Shed has had close experience of strokes so it was very satisfying to be able to help out in some little way.

Well this project was a blast!

One of our members brought this ancient oldl cannon into the Men's Shed. It was found in a house he and his late wife purchased over 50 years ago. His wife loved the piece and he was hoping to restore it in her memory.

After a lot of hard work with a wire brush and with new oak carriage that we built, it's looking superb and in parade condition.

We hope Janet approves.
