We can’t believe this was last November! ……🤞

Thanks to funding from Tees Million and Redcar and Cleveland Council, children in smaller towns and villages had the opportunity to take part in exciting activities and be part of their local parade. The children were delighted to get involved and chose the name Hunnie Angel for the Polar Bear.

And just like that, Summer 2026 HAF has officially come to an end! ☀️✨

Our young adventurers spent the summer exploring the best of the outdoors—from hunting down geocaches and exploring woods and fields, to discovering incredible sea creatures in our local rock pools! 🦀🐑🌊

Here is some of our favourite feedback from the sessions:

"I didn't realize how many creatures live in the rock pools!"

"I loved it and want to come back!"

The absolute best part? Seeing everyone make new friends and connect across all ages. It was a joy from start to finish!

Our Silver Link group hit the River Tees on The Teesside Princess recently for afternoon tea 🫖☕🍰

A great time was had by all and the group enjoyed a change of scenery while taking in the views and nature along the Tees.

Our new support group starts on Wednesday 16th September!

The group will take place at The Coop in Marske Square, and everyone is warmly welcome.

Come along and spend time with others; tea and coffee is available. ☕

Thank you Tees Million for supporting our Kids Art & Social Group which takes place in Carlin How.

This grant means we are able to continue this successful children's group in East Cleveland which so many families rely on.

The grant ensures we are able to not only provide the group but also so we can provide food and drinks to the children attending and at times transport those children who are not able to attend otherwise.

Linking Routes Men's Space had a fantastic little trip to the Danby Moors Centre last week! 🌲🥾

The group enjoyed a lovely walk along the bankside, soaked up some fresh air and time outdoors 🍃, and finished it all off with a well-earned cuppa in the café! ☕️🍰

We are excited to launch our Bereavement Group in collaboration with Marske Coop Funeral Care!
We know finding a place to chat, whether that be about bereavement or just to spend time with others during grief, that feels comfortable and safe, can be tough. That's why we wanted to link up with our friends at Marske Coop as their services align with with vision and our role in the community as caregivers.
Our team will provide a comfortable, informal space to relax and spend time with others.
The group is going to be held every Third Wednesday of the month at The Coop in Marske Square, starting Wednesday 16th September at 3pm. ✨
Come along for a drink and a chat. ☕️

At the start of July, we hosted our Charity Race Night at the Corus Club in Dormanstown. We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped raise funds for Linking Routes.

In total, the event raised a fantastic £665.50. This would not have been possible without our local support, so we are incredibly grateful to you all.

A special thank you goes to Chris Powlay from Dormanstown Corus Sports and Social Centre, who hosted the event and supported our staff throughout the evening.
