Anyone notice a familiar name on this list...🤔

Congratulations to Rainbow on her Award for Merit (even though for some reason the list says Norma? 🤣)

The Award for Merit is a national good service award given by Scout Association to adult volunteers for outstanding, dedicated, and imaginative service over a sustained period.

During her nearly 20 years at 6th Fulwood Norma has held and continues to hold roles in Beavers and Scouts. Until December last year she served as Group Lead Volunteer completing 12 years service in this role. Outside of group she has previously been a County Safeguarding trainer, Beaver District Team member and helper to other groups. Currently she visits Scout sections across the district to support with the health and well being part of the Skills Challenge Award.

What's your favourite imaginative memory from your time with Rainbow or at 6th Fulwood?

to the adult volunteers who received a good service award in August 2026 🏅 🎉

Always amazing what you find at the back of a drawer...

Hands up who remembers their COVID kindness pack and the badges we had made for Matthew Mayhew

All adult volunteers leave us with something...Zebra was never an animal we used in the evolution/animal game at Scouts...now it's not considered a proper game if we don't! 🦓

Have you ever thought about volunteering with 6th Fulwood? Why not get in touch with us over Summer break and we can talk to you about all the opportunities we have available 🤩

Beaver Scouts had a fab day out yesterday on the District Beaver trip to Blackpool Zoo

Not a huge amount of photos of the Beavers as they were too excited to stand still for long and were lucky to make lots of new animals friends 🦜🪿🐧🐅🦦

Thanks Preston & District Scouts for organising we had a great time 🤩
