National Youth Work Week 2026 – Where Futures Begin

This week, we’re celebrating the positive impact of youth work across Lancashire.

Meet Kirsten and hear, in her own words, how youth work has made a difference to her.

Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing more stories from young people about their experiences and the support they’ve received.

Want to find out more about youth work and what’s happening near you? Visit Lancashire County Council Events and choose the Youth Work category.

We’re at Preston College Freshers’ Fair today! 👋🎓

We’ll be here until 12pm chatting to young people about what Preston Targeted Youth Support has to offer and the different groups and support available.

We’re also collecting feedback through our youth surveys to hear what young people think and what they’d like to see from our services. 🗣️

If you’re at college this morning, come over, say hello and let us know what you think! 😊

We still want to hear from you.

✅ what children, young people and families may need in the future

Whether you've never needed support, didn't know about the services available, or simply haven't used them, we'd like to hear your views.
