The last game of the season for our under 7 blacks and they most certainly saved the best til last!! They showed just how much they have developed and how far they have come as a team in the blazing sunshine at Withy Grove. An outstanding win against Gillibrand Warriors, a team who beat us last time out 👏💪👏

Every single one of them played their hearts out 💛

Our under 8 blacks finished the season in style today 😎 Sun was shining and so were they 🥰 They were brilliant 👏 Started strong, played great football, battled in the second half and WON 🥳

Final Game of the Season for our under 10 blacks girls with Paul O Brien capturing some fantastic pics 📷🥰
Always a tough match against Elswick with only 7 girls to start, then 6 in the second half. The girls needed a confidence boost after the first half so the coaches worked their magic 🪄 The halftime chat worked wonders. Second half was all about effort, teamwork and attitude - and the girls delivered 💪 Every single one battled for each other and the difference was brilliant to see.The second half is exactly what football development is all about ⚽️

Our U12 Blacks headed to Blackpool today for the Jordan Banks Memorial Tournament

They finished 2nd in their group and put in a great shift, before coming up against a strong side in the quarter-finals 👏

Most importantly, the boys did Springies proud on our annual outing to this tournament held in memory of little Jordan Banks and really enjoyed it 💛🖤 A great tournament 💫

Really impressed with how you're getting more involved in games, running up and down the pitch and getting stuck in. Class again today.

Finley bagged a couple of goals and had some great runs down the wing. Sid was superb and the assist was unreal, unlucky not to score today! Archie was full of determination with yet more brilliant passing and a nice goal to round off the performance, and George put in some solid defending in the first half, including a classic George tackle, before going between the sticks in the second.
Overall, everyone had individual moments of brilliance 👏

Love seeing everyone buzzing even after a loss, and so they should be. We played well and had lots of fun 🙌😁⚽️
