Entries close on Monday night. If everyone submits at the last minute, his Tuesday morning becomes less of a working day and more of an emergency appeal.

It's the final countdown!

Entries must be submitted by 23:59 on the 31st August (GMT).

Could your work take its place in 125 years of photographic history?

The British Institute of Professional Photography, the world’s oldest professional photographic organisation, is now accepting entries for the International Print Masters 2026.

The competition is open to professional photographers worldwide, including non-members, with 15 categories spanning the breadth of contemporary professional photography.

Entry begins online. The highest-scoring images in each category will progress to physical print judging, competing for individual category awards and the overall title of International Print Master 2026/27.

The year will culminate at the BIPP Big Bash on 26 November, with an exhibition and awards celebration in London with this year’s winners being recognised alongside the photographers who have shaped the competition’s history.

Digital entries must be submitted by 31st August 2026.

Apparently we haven’t made enough noise about competitions this month… 😉

Please welcome Khandie Photography, our new Team UK Captain for the World Photographic Cup 2027!

The BIPP represents the United Kingdom in this worldwide competition, selecting a national team to compete against outstanding professional photographers from countries across the globe.

That team of creatives will compete for individual awards in their category, while their results also count towards (hopefully) winning the overall World Photographic Cup for the UK.

It’s a big deal, and we want as many of you as possible to be a part of Team UK to make it count - so please do get involved.

Our previous captains have given a huge amount of time and hard work to Team UK over the years, and we’re extremely grateful for everything they have done.

Khandie now takes over for 2027 with a fresh approach, along with an incredible amount of energy, enthusiasm and innate ability to rally the troops. 👍

And for the first time, The BIPP will also send Team UK representatives to the awards ceremony in Calgary, Alberta, in April 2027. (Just ready to collect our trophy!)

The final Team UK submission is due at the end of October, so start thinking about the work that could represent your country. Khandie will be communicating what the team needs and showing you how to put your images forward for selection over the coming weeks.

Already entering our Monthly Image Competition or IPM26? Good! You can enter those and put work forward for Team UK as well, and it's a great way to get your work in front of the right sets of eyes for selection too.

We did warn you this was going to be a busy month... 🤣

Congratulations to Art of the Fairytale, awarded Bronze in the Fashion & Beauty category of our July Monthly Image Competition.

It’s a striking piece of work and a thoroughly deserved result.

Recognition like this carries real value. It gives photographers an independent benchmark, adds credibility and provides something meaningful to share with clients and the wider industry.

BIPP members can enter the Monthly Image Competition free of charge every month. So, if you have an image you believe in, give it the chance to be judged.

Hosted by the world’s oldest professional photographic institution, the International Print Masters 2026 is now open for global entries - to existing members of the BIPP and to non-members globally.

This is a competition where timeless skill meets modern vision.
