🍦 💙 👍 Thumbs Up for Charlie Run Event - At Wallings Ice Cream 👍 💙 🍦
This debut event delivered everything a community run should: an undulating countryside route, a cause that truly matters, and - despite biblical rain ☔️ - plenty of smiles (or were they grimaces 😬) powered by the promise of a two‑scoop Wallings ice cream at the finish.
🩵 Running for Charlie
The event supported Thumbs Up for Charlie - a charity created in memory of Charlie, a brave five year old who fought an ependymoma brain tumour for three years.
Their mission: to give families affected by childhood brain tumours respite breaks, helping them make memories, breathe, and reflect.
