The last of the programme stock will be for sale outside Poacher tomorrow as everyone gathers for the parade ☀️

As we are now getting to limited availability, we are collecting all programmes from all our schools and topping up our shops where needed. We will have programmes available on site for sale Thursday 11th June & Friday 12th June. Cash or card payments welcome.

please note all committee members are extremely busy and doing a lot of running around as we set up for the big day, so we may not be immediately available whilst on the field.

We’re asking for one final push to help support Portishead Carnival.

We have worked incredibly hard to increase capacity this year so more families can enjoy the event, but the costs have risen significantly. If you can spare £5, or whatever you’re able to give, it would be hugely appreciated. We’re £100 away from our goal!

We have had several emails regarding the road closures. We are shutting down a large part of our town for the towns largest annual event.

We do appreciate that this maybe an inconvenience to a few residents which is why we have ensured the early warning signs were put up 3 weeks before the event (rather than the legal two weeks) to ensure residents had ample warning and could therefore adjust their timings of travel outside of Portishead accordingly on carnival day.

Please can all volunteers aside from the groups already sorted. Pop to site (the show field) on Friday for your high vis vests etc ☀️

This years parade flags will be available on the day during the parade, provided by our fantastic volunteers! Make sure to look out for them!
