On this page We aim to provide up to date information on local Events happening in the Rhydyfelin and Hawthorn Area of Pontypridd. We are from different community organisations in different parts of Rhydyfelin so we can give constant up to date information on all events happening in Rhydyfelin and Hawthorn. Bethel's walk this November is the Efailisaf Bypass Walk, meet outside Bethel at 10.50 and travel to the Woodland Walk Garden Centre, near Llantwit Fardre where the walk will commence and end for refreshments. Don;t forget to bring money for the refreshments. The walk is mainly over tarmac This will be the final walk of the year.

Menopause and Neurodivergence. The final session for Menopause Awareness Month takes place on Saturday 24th October from 2pm to 4pm when Laura and Rebecca will be leading the discussion on coping with 'The Double Whammy'. All welcome to attend this free session, kindly provided with support by Pontypridd Town Council. Just phone or email to book in so that numbers for refreshments can be planned

Before we were even a radio station...

There was ACJRadio and our weekly online family quizzes during lockdown! 😂

Well... we've had an idea. 👀

As part of our 25-HOUR RADIOTHON FOR LATCH on Saturday 24th October, we're thinking about bringing back the ORIGINAL ACJRADIO FAMILY QUIZ for one night only!

🎉 The same family-friendly fun
🧠 Questions for all ages
🏆 A bit of friendly competition
❤️ And all for a fantastic cause!

We're thinking Saturday teatime / early evening, around 5pm–6pm, so the whole family can get involved.

BUT HERE'S THE QUESTION...

Would anybody actually want to play?! 😂

We're not going to spend hours putting a quiz together if it's just Lee, Mat and three people arguing over the answers!
