Our Artists in Residence The Gesualdo Six performed live on BBC Radio 3's In Tune last Wednesday.

Planet Hugill gives some background to Imogen Whitehead's residency this July, which centres on Gabriel Jackson's new concerto for flugelhorn co-commissioned by the Festival and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, which receives its World Premiere in Norton on 18 July.

Artist in Residence cellist Laura van der Heijden sent us a little video about her FIVE concerts in this summer's Ryedale Festival.

Laura won Young Musican of the Year in 2012 at the age of just 15 and last year was awarded the Royal Philharmonic Society's Instrumentalist Award - we are delighted to welcome her to this summer's Festival.
