Petworth Hampers Green Bonfire and Fireworks

Another big shout out and thanks to Chandlers Farming for saving my back and clearing the Ash from the Bonfire and Flash Trash Recycling for clearing the rubble and metal. Team work makes the dream work!

We still also have 5 pallets so if someone could really help us out by taking those, I would be very grateful.

Obviously our wonderful volunteers, traipsing in the mud and cold and dark, putting in a lot of hours!
Trenchline Utilities Limited for their fabulous crossing. JME Scaffolding for the wonderful steps and bridge (that were much better than last year!) Nick Blunt Fencing for lending us a van, extremely useful. Chandler Farming, for letting us use the field to set of fireworks, weren’t they gorgeous over the tree’s with the moon in the background. They also lent us equipment to get the caterers on and off site. Link Hire & Sales Limited for lending us fencing to keep you safe with sparklers and marshmallows toasting. 1st Petworth Scout Group for generators and lots of volunteers. Kaleidoscope Preschool for their lovely guy.(sorry I didn’t get a photo) Gift of the Gab design for keeping up to date on our website.

These things save us thousands of pounds and make sure we can go ahead. We really appreciate every single thing someone does for us without cost.

What a night!!! THANK YOU to everyone who makes it possible, I am always so grateful to anyone who helps, a little or a lot, it makes such a difference. If you didn’t manage to donate, please do here, it costs us thousands to put on! We need your donations if it’s to go ahead again next year.

🚽 Toilets are at Hampers Green community centre (as is mulled wine!)
🚗 Car parking in National Trust car park, disabled in Hampers Green Ind Est

The company that promised us a scaffold bridge and steps has gone AWOL. It’s SUPER late notice but can anyone help us so people can safely get up the bank on Saturday? We have the insurance in place, so the company will not be liable.
