Pershore's Men's Shed is going from strength to strength with a fully equipped Shed and lots of members of all abilities.

We are expanding our activities and Men's Shed now has an allotment! We have a plot next to our Shed which has been prepared and is ready for planting. Huge thanks to Friends of Pershore Hospital for funding a new wooden shed for the allotment.

Are you interested in joining a group of like-minded men to maintain our allotment?

You might like the idea of having an allotment but don't want the commitment of running an allotment by yourself. Or you might have no experience and just fancy having a go at gardening. We welcome all.

Join Men's Shed and help as much or as little as you wish. Help make decisions about what to grow and maintain our plot.

We can offer a friendly welcome, lots of chat and lots of tea drinking.

Interested? - contact us via Facebook Messenger or via [email protected] We will arrange a visit and take it from there.

This is my first creation made at Pershore Men's Shed. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/r6pg3K6Z6yuPgR3w6)

It's a pocket magnifier for looking at leaves, flowers, bugs etc when I'm on my walks. It got a 2x, 5x and 10x lens and a 15 cm scale.

I carry it in my day bag, and it's been useful on several occasions.

Here's an "honourable mention" to Rob, whose woodworking help and guidance were invaluable.

Merry Christmas from Pershore's Men Shed 🎄🎄

2025 has been a fantastic year for us. We started the year with a derelict garage and we now have a fully functioning workshop.

We are up and running with a great group of Shedders who have various projects underway and already a variety of objects from candle holders to chairs have been created.

A huge thank you to all our supporters who have helped make this happen.

We've thanked a load of people and organisations along the way and our latest thanks go to:

IASME a cyber security company for a generous donation 😊

Pershore Hire Centre who have been very supportive of what we have been trying to achieve and helped with sourcing equipment and at one point lent us a mini digger at no cost 👏 😊

With all your continuing support we will go from strength to strength in 2026 😊😊

Good morning. What a beautiful start to the day 😊

Another major milestone for Pershore's Men's Shed with our official opening by the Mayor of Pershire, Councillor Julie Hemmings on Saturday 15th November👏

We had a great turnout from local residents and organisations. Everyone had a tour of the workshop and saw some works in progress followed by tea and cakes. We also signed up 11 new members, and send a warm welcome to them.

Many thanks to Theresa from Pershore Embroiderers and Textile Artists who, following a fund-raising event, presented a cheque for a generous donation, another example of the great support we have had from the town.

Cutting a ribbon is not our style at Men's Shed so the Mayor opened our Shed by sawing through a piece of timber. Many thanks to the Mayor for being a good sport 😊😊

Many thanks to everyone who has supported us on this journey.

Now our Shedders crack on, making, repairing, upcycling and drinking tea while making connections and enhancing wellbeing.

Don't forget our open day is on 15th November! Please share and help us get the word out as wide as possible 😊

It's been a while since our last update but our Shedders have been working away at getting our workshop ready.

We have installed security, water butts, shelving and much much more. We are very nearly ready to open up and we have a small number of Shedders who have already started to make things while we finalise everything. We have a great mix of skills and abilities from complete novices to men who are very experienced .

A major step forward was the installation of a composting loo. It was a giant flat-packed jigsaw with hundreds of pieces of wood and took two days to assemble. Special thanks to Pershore Hire Centre who brought a mini digger along and levelled the ground for the loo and very kindly did this at no cost to us.

We've got a new logo - again kindly designed for free by a supporter.

We now have a website www.mensshedpershore.co.uk although it's still under development

We will be having an open day in November for everyone to come along and see what a Men's Shed is all about.

Watch this space for details coming soon.

If you are interesting in becoming a member please contact [email protected] or text 07386387273 and we can arrange a visit 😊

Latest news from Pershore's Men's Shed

We finally have electricity in the Shed so we can crack on now and equip it with woodworking machinery. The electrics mean we also now have CCTV, Alarms and most important of all a kettle 😊

Huge thanks to Richard Payne a local electrician who provided some great advice and did a brilliant job for us and can highly recommend him [email protected] 07583292178

We are now getting close to being able to open to members who are keen to get stuck in making, fixing and reburnishing things.

Special thanks to Worcestershire Freemasons Charity for a generous contribution and the National Lottery who have also provided some funding. It's great to see both national and local organisations supporting our Shed in Pershore and what we are trying to achieve - a safe space for men to come together to make connection, conversation and be creative.

At some point we will be having an open day for everyone to come and see Pershore's newest community organisation so look out for this.

Follow us to see our progress and the date for our open day.

More progress at our Men's Shed 😊

Our team of Shedders have transformed a rusty eyesore into a smart and colourful storage unit.

We have asked Pershore's Youth Council to organise local children to paint something striking on one side to add something special to our Shed and the allotments.

Latest news from Pershore's Men's Shed.

We have completed insulating, boarding and painting the Shed and its looking pristine. Huge thanks to all our Shedders who helped make this happen. We now have a great space for a workshop.

Thanks to Abbey Park School for donating their work benches and tools that were no longer needed. They will now get many more years use by an older generation 😊

Special thanks to The Talbot and The Millers pubs regulars who made a substantial donation raised from their annual cricket match 👏👏 We really appreciate the donation but even more it's great to know local people and businesses are behind us in creating this great new community asset.

Next steps - install electrics
