Guardians of Nature-South Ribble has our next litter pick will be this thursday!!!🤩 We will be meeting at Alderfield allotment at 4:30pm. We will have a wee walk round the estate and down to greencroft valley. The kids always ask me how many sleeps, so its short notice for their benifit so they remember. So its 3 sleeps kids. Emily can you let any kids on the estate know for me🙏😀

At Guardians of Nature-South Ribble we have managed to offer a bit of support to the White Ribbon Garden in Kingsfold, Penwortham. The garden was created by South Ribble Borough Council and a local womens refuge to raise awareness of the White Ribbon UK charity who raise awareness to young men about violence against women and girls. Its an area of reflection and needed some help with plant so Arden Lea Nurseries came to our aid with white plants to stay in the theme of the white ribbion🤍
Our volunteers came down today to offer a hand with planting and the wee plant babbies are in!!🥳

Theres still a lot to do but it is looking so much better already!🙂
Thank you to everyone who came to lend a had in supporting this very special garden🤍🪷🙏🦋🌺

Well Guardians of Nature-South Ribble our level 1 horticulture course at our allotment and woodland nursery with Lancashire Adult Learning Within Lancashire College is in full swing!! 🌺🌱
The team are gelling beautifully and enjoying all nature has to offer🥰

Today we learned about cuttings, its been so heartwarming to watch them all learn about nature with auch excitement over the past few weeks! Cant wait to see what they discover next 😍 🌻💕💚

Awww what a fantastic effort today Guardians of Nature-South Ribble 🙂
We got in our posts in for our bridge for our East Asian Garden.⛩️🌾🙏 All thanks to our amazing team of volunteer builders under the watchful eye of our building coordinator jeff. We have had wonderful people join us to help with the heavy lifting so far thank you all so much ! What a huge effort💪🙂🌾⛩️💚💯

Well the gala was a huge success!! 🥳🤩it was our first ever stall, and we sold loads!! Thank you to all those who grew and brought their plant babies in to help us raise some cash. 🥰
We were a brilliant team. We absolutly nailed it and everything looked brilliant!!🌺 Thank you all so much for your support!! It was a really fun day! 🤩🥰

huge thank you to the mayoress Tracey Flannery for choosing us as her mayoral cause so we could have our wee stall on the day! And to Arden Lea Nurseries for supporting us with plant babies for our hanging baskets!🥰🌻🌺

Your all just amazing thank you all for helping us keep the project alive, we couldnt do it without each and every one of you!!🥰🌻

Well fans at Guardians of Nature-South Ribble we are all packed up and ready for the Penwortham Gala tomorrow, in Hurst Grange Park Penwortham! 🥳🥰

Its been a busy few months getting ready (hense why so quiet) but we are all organised with some beautiful plants and flowers and some awesome hanging baskets for sale, all money goes towaeds funding our project!🙂
Come down and meet the team , donate, sign up to volunteer or just say hi!👋 We will be having a kids litter pick at 3pm so come and get involved!!We're looking forward to meeting you all in person. See yall tomorrow!!🥰💚👩🏻‍🌾👨🏽‍🌾💕🌻🌺🌱

sorry about the lack of posting but we have been busy busy busy bees!! 🥰🌻🐝
We have been creating an East Asian garden within our Woodland Nursery site, and boy has it been a community effort! 😀
We had the amazing team from Glen Marsden Constrution (once again) come down on their day off and lend a hand by helping us lift railway sleepers for our retaining wall for the garden beds..thanks so much guys, absolute legends!🫡🤩

We also have done a lot of digging with our volunteers and prepping of the area to prepare for the gravel path to support our wheelchair accessable toilet and a mindful walk through to the area and Jeff (our volunteer building coordinator) has already built us stairs up a small soil mound that we will turn into a lovely garden with our team 🥰💚🙏

We are doing a shout out for some fit and enthusiastic people to help, this coming Tuesday 26th at 12🙂. If anyone can help its 7 tons of gravel we need to shift ..Phew please Help we really cant dont this alone😅😆 🙏
