โ๏ธ๐ Everest Explorer Scouts ๐โ๏ธ
With the hot weather this week, we made a last-minute change to our plans and headed out to make the most of the sunshine! ๐
The Explorers enjoyed a refreshing frappรฉ before taking a walk along the beautiful River Ribble estuary, making the most of a warm summer evening and spending time together outdoors. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ฅค
As we walked, we chatted about our upcoming Evolve Camp and some exciting future opportunities, including the unitโs ambitions to take part in international ๐ญ๐ท Scouting adventures. ๐โ๏ธ๐๏ธ Itโs fantastic to see our young people helping shape the programme and looking ahead to the adventures that Scouting can offer.
We also spent some time discussing the Duke of Edinburghโs Award, with several of our Explorers currently completing their awards through school. It was great to hear about their recent expedition experiences and the challenges they have overcome along the way. ๐ฅพ๐บ๏ธ๐๏ธ
Sometimes the best meetings are the simplest ones โ good company, great conversations, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors together. ๐
