We are honoured to announce our appointment of not just one, but two, highly skilled new unpaid Directors Hannah Oxenham and Danielle Griffiths who will be assets to KeyCreate as we build and grow.

Hann has more than 20 years of experience supporting and championing the rights, wellbeing and inclusion of children, young people and vulnerable communities through her work with national charities, in public services, and managing support for individuals with complex needs. Hann has expertise in strategic leadership and safeguarding, and shares KeyCreate’s passion for the power of creativity, connection, music and storytelling in furthering skills, and bringing joy, belonging and togetherness to people who are too often excluded or marginalised.

Dan has a long history of accounting experience and is a Consultant in business, engagement, and finance administration. She has experience of an impressive variety of industries including Aviation and Media. She used to volunteer her skills to administrate for a major food bank organisation, and now, due to wanting to make a difference, and her passion for helping people who can be vulnerable and need support, she has stepped up to help us to keep helping you.

We are so excited and so grateful to both of these amazing ladies to committing time and energy to our cause 😃

It's and KeyCreate would be nothing without our volunteer directors.
It is with great sadness we announce the departure of one of our wonderful unpaid Directors Debbie Fish.

Debbie has given her time and energy to KeyCreate CIC for 11 years voluntarily. She has worked hard behind the scenes, managing our finances, policies and insurance to allow us to keep our wheels in motion.

Debbie was a huge part of KeyCreate's birth and our dream to create a service that provides for the disabled community. She said to Dave "Go and think of a name and we'll make it happen" and Debbie swiftly set to work researching and setting up the CIC we now know as KeyCreate, finding start up funds to purchase resources and keeping everything ticking over to ensure we could steadily grow, which we did.

We are so sad to see her go; she leaves a big hole and we are so incredibly grateful to Debbie for helping us survive this first decade, especially over the pandemic.

We truly wish her all the best for her retirement.

Thank you to all the lovely families who joined us yesterday for our very sunny sensory session.
Lovely to meet new faces and catch up with familiar ones.

It was probably the most scorching hot session we've run so far, so we hope the water play was enjoyed.
It was so busy we didn't get any photos after set up.

We were really chuffed to be asked to support Newport County Council's Let's Connect event again 😎

It's being held TOMORROW at the beautiful RIVERFRONT THEATRE in Newport from 10am til 2pm.

The event has loads of free activities and lots of tables displaying available services for parents to get more support especially with cost of living.

KeyCreate will be there running musical sensory sessions aimed for those with ALN.

For those booked on today, and those on the waiting list who we've contacted, we'll be putting out lots of wacky water play to cool off in the heat today.
Bring towels, spare clothes and suncream and remember you can escape indoors where it will be cool and non splashy

We are fully booked for this Sunday 24th May's Sensory Play Session but watch this space because if the weather is as glorious as promised we'll make more spaces available

Sunday 21st June is also bookable, when we'll be doing a Fathers' Day and Solstice Special
