So apparently today is the day the BBC Songs of Praise episode filmed back in January at St Augustine's Church (Penarth Ministry Area) is being Broadcast.
(1:15pm on BBC2 Wales, and will then be available on iPlayer.)

Why are we mentioning this...? Well we found this song sheet in our archives from a previous time the programme was filmed there, in 1976.

They held a rehearsal Wednesday 24th March, recorded on Thursday 25th and the show was broadcast on Sunday 16th May 1976.

As you can see it was an interesting mix of hymns. There's even notes made (probably from the rehearsal as to who will be singing what parts.
What a great bit of history to have... 😃

Will they be singing the same songs again at this year's? Tune in to find out.

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus bawb / Happy St David's Day everyone 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😁
