A snapshot of September at Romilly Financial.

September has busy from every perspective; financial resets, forward planning and plenty of meaningful community engagement.

With summer behind us, many clients have been taking the opportunity to get their finances in order ahead of Q4. Our team has been busy helping them regain clarity and confidence.

allowed us to share practical guidance to help simplify pensions, debunk common myths and make retirement planning feel far more accessible.

We were proud to sponsor new shirts for Penarth Men's Shed, a brilliant local group supporting men’s mental health through companionship and connection.

This month we supported several fantastic local charity and sporting events including:

Penarth Lawn Tennis Club Golf Day in memory of Pete Jones, raising funds for Velindre Cancer Centre Fundraising

Annual Golf Day in Memory of Stewart Humphreys, organised by Penarth Cricket Club, raising money for Kidney Wales .

We also raised a toast to Penarth Cricket Club who celebrated their 175th Anniversary!

There seems to be no slowing down as the end of the year approaches but we wouldn't have it any other way.

We had a lively, interactive and highly informative session today, led by our member Andrew who previously worked hands on in the oil and gas industry for 40+ years. The session was all about how oil and gas forms deep underground and the challenges and ethics of extracting it from land and sea around the globe. Thanks Andrew!

Members of Penarth Men's Shed recently benefitted from a very professional, thorough and helpful workshop on all things "Cybersmart" at our regular meeting. Joel Walters, digital skills coordinator from VOGC Adult and Community Learning lead a very accessible session and everyone learned something new about keeping safe when using modern technology. Many thanks Joel👍
