Tweeddale Access Panel

Tweeddale Access Panel The Tweeddale Access Panel meets four times a year to discuss, and hopefully improve access for people of all disabilities.

We discuss everything from placement of wheelie bins on pavements, the lack of dropped kerbs and everything in between.

It was only a matter of time . . .
how many times have we complained about the drainage at the drop kerb on the north side of the Tesco loading bay?

Earlier this week one of the many scooter users who use the store for essential supplies found herself unable to move forwards or backwards when the puddle flooded her battery.

A revealing footnote . . . the number of people who walked past the distressed scooter user without asking if they could help (or give her a push).

Hmmm . . .
