Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). Visitors bring their broken items from home. We learn and fix together.

Part of a worldwide group, our group of gifted volunteers help owners repair and mend items which might otherwise get thrown away - thereby saving loved and valued items, and the environment, too. At a Repair Cafe, you’ll find tools and materials to help you make the repairs you need - on clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, toys, jewelry, etc. You will also find repair specialists such as electricians, seamstresses, carpenters and mechanics. Together with the specialists they start making their repairs in the Repair Café. If you have nothing to repair, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Or you can lend a hand with another repair job. You can also get inspired at the reading table – by leafing through books on repairs and DIY.
