Today we remember Preston Davey.
A little boy whose life should have been filled with love, safety, laughter and opportunity. Instead, his story serves as a heartbreaking reminder of the devastating consequences when children are not protected.
As safeguarding professionals, parents, communities and society, we must ask ourselves: how many more children must suffer before real change happens?
Every child deserves to be seen.
Every child deserves to be heard.
Every child deserves to be safe.
We remember Preston not only with sadness, but with determination. Determination to listen when children need help, to act when concerns are raised, and to ensure that safeguarding remains everyone's responsibility.
Let Preston's legacy be a call for action.
Because one child lost is one too many.
Let's honour Preston's memory by working together to ensure that no other child experiences the abuse, neglect or harm that he endured.

The feedback we receive from survivors of crime is a powerful reminder of why this support matters.

In this podcast clip with True Criminals, our CEO shares how hearing about the difference support can make continues to inspire us every day.

A heartfelt thank you to all the survivors who choose to share their experiences and healing journeys with us. Your courage, resilience and honesty inspire everything we do at Embrace.
