Go Team RJAH - an absolutely fantastic effort 👏

Thank you to Team RJAH who took on the 2026 London Marathon, back in April, raising a fantastic £29,000 for the RJAH Charity 👏💜

To celebrate their efforts, a special ceremony took place in the hospital's Main Entrance where runners received a certificate of appreciation, presented to them by Stacey Keegan, Chief Executive.

A band of four ex-servicemen have set themselves a super summertime challenge, where they will be embarking on a Two Ball Rally in a modified Jeep Patriot, starting in France and ending in Bucharest 🚗

They are kindly taking on this epic journey is support of the Veterans' Orthopaedic Service 👏

One way is 3000 miles, however in true Shropshire Yeomanry style, no-one gets left behind - not even questionable vehicles. So, they will be attempting the return journey too!

Huge thank you to both Morgan and Isla! 👏

Thank you to Morgan and Isla Clewes who have raised £482.83 for the RJAH Charity 👏💜

Morgan suffered a spinal cord injury after falling from a swing in September 2025, sustaining an injury that affected all 4 limbs. He came to RJAH in November 2025 for rehabilitation.

Wanting to give something back to the Occupational Therapy Department that supported Morgan throughout his rehabilitation, his sister Isla organised a range of fundraising activities with the support of Lakelands Academy. Isla and some of his friends organised a number of fundraising activities including a non-uniform day!

We are delighted to be the charity partner for this year's Ellesmere 10K and Chirk 10K runs, organised by Adrenaline Sporting Events 👏🏃🏅

The Chirk 10k is taking place on July 12th, with Ellesmere 10k taking place on August 23rd.

Charity places are available for £15 per runner, per event, with participants asked to raise a minimum of £150 to support patients and services at RJAH.
