LISTER STEAM TRAM PROJECT: We had hoped for better news, but following an inspection by NB Engineering & Inspection on 30 July, our boiler has officially been condemned and is beyond repair.
While this is a significant setback, it wasn't unexpected. The inspector confirmed that our original estimate of £6,000 to replace it remains accurate, but without a new boiler, the Tram cannot run again. Replacing it is the major hurdle in bringing it back to life.
