The acclaimed I SWEAR is on tonight (7.30). Best book, as it's close to a sell-out. And from now on the OFS will be supplementing the Maona cinema schedules with regular screenings on the first and third Wednesdays of every month. Due next (Apr 15) is the uplifting LIFE OF CHUCK (Tom Hiddleston), and coming up - the stylish BLACK BAG and the comedy-drama KITCHEN BRIGADE. But it's not just Wednesdays. I Swear: this frank, funny and truly powerful true-life film was the huge success at the recent BAFTAs. Inspired by the experiences of John Davidson MBE, it charts his journey from misunderstood teen in 1980s Britain to present-day advocate for the understanding and acceptance of Tourette Syndrome. I SWEAR British lead Robert Aramayo beat off superstars Leonardo di Caprio & Timothee Chalamet to win Best Actor at the recent BAFTAs. The film is the frank, funny and powerful life-story of Tourette Syndrome sufferer John Davidson from his diagnosis at 15. Peter Mullan & Maxine Peake provide strong support.
