Oswestry Climate Action Hub (OsCAH) is a new community group for the people of Oswestry and nearby areas to help each other live more sustainably and build resilience against climate change.

💫Looking for a gift that is locally and sustainably made, that doesn't cost the earth?

Next Saturday, Nov 7th, the lovely young people from Kids Knit and Natter will be outside OsCAH, 36 Bailey St, with their Made with Love stall 💗

There will be lots of lovely, handmade items on offer that they have stitched from donated yarn and/or upcycled to be transformed into beautiful gifts including hats, scrunchies and candle holders.

The stall will be pay as you can, with all donations going towards keepng the hub up and running.

Hope you can come along! 💚

With food prices set to massively increase it feels really important to bring the issue of food caps and fairer food systems to the governments attention.

Sign the pledge, share the link, boycott supermarkets for a day and support local independent business 💚

It's Budget Day. For one day, don't buy anything from a supermarket. Food prices have to come down. Sign the pledge and pass it on.

Great free workshop coming up in not too far away Much Wenlock...

Calling all DIYers and Tradespeople in Shropshire and Telford! Do you live in an older property, want to insulate your walls, and would like to know how to do it yourself?

If yes, come along to this practical workshop where you will learn about woodfibre internal wall insulation systems, how to install insulation boards and apply lime plaster.

Are you interested in herbs and their uses?

Jenny and Gill invite you to come and join with like minded people to explore and exchange knowledge about wild herbs and plants. We enjoy making simple remedies and lotions and would like to connect with others interested in meeting up to forage together and share knowledge.

We plan to create a foraging group for Spring 2027.

Complete Beginners and Experienced Welcome.

Learn from one another. A group to share ideas. Why not bring some herbs of your own to talk? The first meet up is October 24th from 4-6pm at OsCAH 36 Bailey St.

FREE Saturday Eco craft Makery sessions at OsCAH, 36 Bailey St, 12-2pm...

It's been lovely to see all ages connecting and crafting together at the Makeries so far, with lots of beautiful creations made ❤️

This Saturday it's Decoupage. All materials will be provided-why not join us and have a go? They make great, handmade gifts too!

All ages/abilities welcome, under 16's to be accompanied by an adult please 😊

Circular Economy, Closing the Loop, October 28th from 2pm at Oswestry Memorial Hall..

Join OsCAH, Oswestry and Borders Repair Cafe and other individuals and organisations from across Shropshire who are involved in creating circular economies- sharing and repairing more to build connection, reduce waste and lower carbon emissions where they live.

There will be a chance to find out more and ask questions over a cuppa-hope you can join us 💚

❤️ Poppies for Remembrance EcoCraft at OsCAH, 36 Bailey St, happening today, Saturday 10th, 12-2pm.

Drop in between 12 and 2 and join us as we upcycle and recycle donated and waste items to make poppies for the Os In Bloom Poppies for Remembrance cascade display. Check out the poster/photos below for more info ❤️

Everyone is welcome at this free craft and connect event, under 16's to be accompanied by an adult please. Free refreshments available. Hope you can join us! 😊💚
