5 OmaghTrefoil Members headed to the Mill Wheel in Dunamore near Cookstown for their tea and a bit of a chinwag.......well we did that for most of the evening truth be told...... and then headed on to Davagh Forest and enjoyed a lovely walk before meeting up with one of the Sperrin giants. The weather was very kind to us which added to the evening.
Can you spot the bird house in one of the photos?

A bit of craic was had at our bring a friend night. We know we were a month late but better late than never. Here's a wee sampler.

Two members of Omagh Guild went to the City Hotel in Derry/ Londonderry to attend the Ulster Trefoil Annual Review.
It was a lovely wee day. The day consisted of lunch followed by the more formal part the day where reports were read. The UK Trefoil Chair Jean then spoke before presenting Awards, where Jackie received her Bronze Voyage Award. We were then enlightened to a few hidden gems worth visiting in the local area and across in Donegal.
After that we decorated some tote bags before heading out into the sunshine for amongst other things a walk across the Peace Bridge.
We came back and enjoyed some pre dinner drinks and Musical entertainment before sitting down to a lovely 2 course meal. After that we headed home but more entertainment continued into the evening

Some Omagh Trefoil members enjoyed another brilliant night. They attended a St Patrick's Day Quiz and Stew night run by Omagh Rainbows and Brownies and helped out a bit on the door, selling raffle tickets, judging art competitions and serving stew but were still able to take part in the actual quiz. The quiz was aimed mostly at the kids so suited us brilliantly and there were loads of prizes on offer.
Well done Leaders it was a great evening with a lot of work behind the scenes but brilliant to see how well you were supported by your parents. CONGRATULATIONS🎉

🤣 How do you know someone has been in Guiding for a very long time? 🤣

There are signs. Subtle ones.

For example…

You can’t see a piece of string without automatically wondering
“What knot could I make with that?”

You hear the word campfire and immediately start mentally preparing at least three songs.

You still have very strong opinions about the correct way to toast a marshmallow.
(Slowly. Patiently. Not straight in the flames. We’re not savages.)

You know that somewhere, somehow, glitter is involved.

And you definitely own at least one item that makes other people say:
“Why do you have that?”
…usually followed by:
“Because it might be useful for crafts.”

The funny thing about Guiding is that it doesn’t really leave you.

The friendships stay.
The laughter stays.
The slightly chaotic creativity definitely stays.

And for many people, that’s exactly where Trefoil Guild comes in — a way to stay connected to the spirit of Guiding, the friendships, and the fun.

Just with slightly fewer glue sticks…
and slightly more tea.

Because once Guiding becomes part of your life…
it tends to stick around. 💙
