🔨 CAN YOU LEND A HAND? 🪛

Loughmacrory Community Development Association is looking to hear from local men who might have a bit of time to spare and would be willing to lend a hand with maintenance, repairs, odd jobs and general upkeep around our community facilities.

With a number of projects on the horizon, including our annual Halloween event, we need a few helping hands around the place 🙌🏼

You don’t need to have loads of time, and you certainly don’t need to be an expert. If you’re handy with a few tools, have practical skills, enjoy getting things done… or simply fancy getting involved and meeting a few familiar faces… we’d love to hear from you.

There is a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in our community, and we’d love to put it to good use for the benefit of everyone in Loughmacrory.

If you’re interested in getting involved or know someone who is, message Declan on 07976373856, or speak to any member of the Community Association.

Many hands make light work — and there’s always a job to be done! 👏

‼️ SLOW DOWN ‼️

We have received several messages from concerned residents and parents about speeding cars on all approach roads to Loughmacrory, and within the village itself.

With the good weather, there is more activity than ever along our roads, on pavements and in housing developments.

Could you stop suddenly if you needed to?

Nobody is in that much of a hurry that they cannot slow down a little to help us ensure Loughmacrory is a safe space for everyone.
