One of our lions recently performed for Melissa & Antony's wedding.

Our first time at The Pumping House in Ollerton, a great venue, we have danced at many weddings at amazing venues, The Pumping house we would recommend, especialy if you decorate as Melissa & Antony did. The white blossoms on each table looked magical.

We did not really know till the night that the bride Melissa is a distant relative, made it a little more special when we were greeted by a table of close relatives!!

Big thanks to Melissa & Antony for inviting us AND feeding us with 15 pizza's!!

Lions leap. Here we have Homby and Tyler performing outside of in Beeston Nottingham during this Chinese New Year.

Uncle and Nephew, Tyler has been performing with MaBo since he was a toddler, he’s now 28!!! They both perform as one, instinctively know each other’s moves. The minute actions of the head, the wag of the tail. It really brings the lion to life. It’s great to see.

For those who have watched us over the New Year Celebrations, we do hope you enjoyed the performances.

A few reels back you may have seen us performing with the Unicorn, well tonight our lead dancers Homz, Limz and JP got to try a Unicorn, big thanks to Brian from the Birmingham Kwongsai Bamboo Forest Praying Mantis for guiding us. We have next level respect now to all Unicorn dancers.

Thank you for joining us for our 2026 Chinese New Year journey

Here is something a little different for you to watch!

It’s nothing new attaching an action cam inside the lion's head, I decided to attach my Insta360 Ace Pro in a couple of performances, the last 2 to be exact so please excuse the poor lighting as these were filmed at night and also inside a dark restaurant.

1st clip is of our lead dancers MaBo Hong and Ling, showing Hong lifted onto Alan’s head (tail) to the hanging lettuce for the 採青 routine. It shows how difficult it is especially when one is sitting on top of one's head for a dance routine!! Hong's peak heart bpm during the dance was 186, a maximum or near-maximum effort.

Yuji laughing in the end is when he's literally interacting with the restaurant guests, a thing we love to do!

is always trying out Chinese food and we all know chinese food is his favourite cuisine and he loves it!!

We thought to change things up a bit for him, he could try out a new hobby….The Lion Dance.
