A Children's Centre is a place, or group of places, where local families with young children can go and enjoy facilities and receive support they need. Sometimes support may be offered in the home. The facilities and activities are designed especially for parents expecting a baby, or those with a child under 5 years old. Our staff are fully trained to deal with individual needs a child might have, and we work with many partners to ensure we can support families in whatever area they need.

We offer a variety of groups and activities, as well as one-to-one services at each Children's Centre. Each Centre has it's own programme of weekly activities, and services may vary. Some of the activities on offer include: breastfeeding support .... under one's groups .... messy play .... parent's groups .... toddler groups .... and much more. Notttinghamshire Children & Families Partnership (NCFP) are commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council to run all Children's Centres. This means staff and services delivered are fully integrated with local health providers such as health visiting and speech & language services as well as Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust & North Nottinghamshire College.
