Since the Daily Bread closed it’s become harder to buy wholefoods which are ethically sourced and reasonably priced. A group in Willingham has started up which buys wholefoods in bulk monthly from the SUMA co-operative. We could do the same in Oakington & Westwick, if someone would be willing to organise. They would need a bit of space, eg in a garage, and a little time for the admin, but individual buyers place their own orders – the savings come from having it all delivered to one place. There is now a grey recycling box in Oakington village shop, near the counter. A trial scheme to collect things which can't be recycled via blue/green bin.

At the moment just Marigold rubber gloves (not other brands sorry) but we hope to extend it in the future.
