Yesterday, members of the Rotary Club of Cambridge South were delighted to support the Rotary Children’s Fun Day, joining fellow Rotarians from across the region to help create a memorable day for children and their families. It was wonderful to see so many volunteers giving their time, energy and enthusiasm to ensure everyone enjoyed a safe, welcoming and fun-filled event.

The Rotary Children’s Fun Day is one of the many ways Rotary puts Service Above Self into action. The event provides children, including those with additional needs, disabilities and life challenges, the opportunity to enjoy activities, entertainment, friendship and experiences that many families might otherwise find difficult to access. From bouncy castles and games to music, laughter and shared memories, the day is all about inclusion, confidence and enjoyment.

Rotary is a global organisation of volunteers committed to making a positive difference in our communities and around the world. Whether supporting young people, tackling loneliness, promoting education, assisting those facing hardship, or helping people with disabilities and additional needs, Rotary members work together to improve lives and strengthen communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, organised activities, supported the event and helped make the day such a success. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces reminds us why Rotary continues to serve our communities with pride.
