🎉 **CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF ROTARY IN CAMBRIDGE SOUTH!** 🎉
**60 years of friendship, community service and making a difference!**
Founded in 1966, the Rotary Club of Cambridge South is proudly celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. For six decades, our members have been bringing people together, supporting local charities, helping communities and contributing to humanitarian projects around the world.
And we're still going strong!
💙 **Last year, one of our fundraising events alone raised over £40,000 for charity!**
Rotary isn't just about fundraising. It's about friendship, meeting interesting people, enjoying excellent speakers, having fun and doing something worthwhile for others.
🏛️ **COME AND DISCOVER ROTARY – MONDAY 26TH OCTOBER**
We're delighted to welcome **Richard Pleasants**, who has over 40 years' experience in architecture, speaking on:
**"Getting Away with Architecture"**
📍 Madingley Hall, Cambridge
📅 Monday 26th October 2026
🕡 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm
🍽️ **Two-course meal – £28 per person**
Come along for an enjoyable evening at the beautiful Madingley Hall, meet some friendly people and find out what Rotary is all about.
**Everyone is welcome – you don't have to be a Rotarian, and there's absolutely no obligation to join!**
🎄 **OUR CHRISTMAS CHARITY CAR PARKING IS COMING!**
One of our most successful annual fundraising activities is our Christmas car parking project at the Downing Site in Cambridge.
We're always looking for volunteers to help with short, easy shifts directing cars into parking spaces. No training or previous experience is required, and just a couple of hours of your time can make a real difference.
We especially welcome **local charities, voluntary groups and community organisations** who would like to get involved, work alongside Rotary and help us raise funds for worthwhile causes.
🤝 **THINKING ABOUT JOINING ROTARY?**
It's easier than you might imagine!
Simply come along to a meeting, enjoy the company, listen to one of our excellent speakers and get to know us. We meet every two weeks and offer friendship, interesting activities and opportunities to help others. You can become involved as much as your time allows.
Whether you're interested in becoming a member, volunteering occasionally or simply making new friends, we'd love to hear from you.

Even if Rotary isn't for you, someone you know might enjoy joining us, making new friends or helping with our charity projects.
**One share could make a real difference!**
💙 **60 years of service – and looking forward to the next 60!**
