Casterton College selected student Harvey Searle as their winner of the Lions Club of Rutland Community Service Award 2026, for his tireless work on reducing waste in his local community, as well as in and around the college.

Harvey who wins a small monetary prize for himself, chose the Woodgreen Animal Charity to receive a £200 donation from the Lions club. Harvey is seen here receiving the cheque from Lions President Allan Grey.
