Good evening, please be aware I am currently out of the office and will return on Monday 7th September.
I will still be checking emails and completing some admin tasks at various times throughout the week, but my work phone will be switched off.
If I contact you outside my normal working hours, please don’t feel any pressure to reply straight away. Simply respond when it is convenient for you, and I will pick up your email the next time I am working.
My usual working hours are Monday and Thursday, 9:00am–12:00pm.

Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre aims to provide social, recreational, educational and therapeutic support to children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, and their families.

I hope this finds you well please find attached information about our Coffee Groups, the new location and alternate times to cover everyone's needs. These will be held on the third Thursday of the month during school term time. It would great to catch up at the groups with our parents and carers.

Hello we are still looking for swim instructor to teach our young people with SEND on Friday evenibgs and Saturday mornings in Oakham Rutland, or a first aider to sit pool side on Saturdays while our families acsess the pool for family swim.

Do you have a child aged 0–5 with additional needs or a disability, or are they a younger sibling of an older child with additional needs?

If so, our Sunflowers Play & Swim sessions may be just what you’re looking for. 🌻

Run by Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre (RRFSC), Sunflowers takes place every Monday during term time at Oakham C of E Primary School. Sessions include play, singing and swimming in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Many of our volunteers have lived experience of SEND themselves or through family members, so we understand that every child and family is different. We aim to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where families can relax, connect with others who understand, and feel truly welcomed.

We also have volunteers available to help in the pool if needed.

💷 Cost: £2 per person (to help towards hall and pool hire costs)
