The Sam Day foundation The Sam Day foundation is a charity in memory of Samantha Day, a kind hearted woman who strived to help children in need. Family always came first.

Samantha Emma Day worked night and day to provide those with less than she did with a happy and peaceful environment. She worked as a manager at Early Years Nursery in Melton Mowbray, completing a degree in childcare, and was determined to provide support and care for children with struggling circumstances. Samantha was killed on 8th December 2011, and the local community was left shocked at her d

eath, and felt a massive loss in the hole that had been left by her generosity in childcare. The Sam Day foundation aims to emulate the work that Sam did throughout her life, by providing days out for families in Melton Mowbray where Sam lived most of her life, and the surrounding areas; to those who truly need a break.
