Today, we remember the Battle of Trafalgar, fought on 21 October 1805, and the bravery and leadership of Admiral Lord Nelson and the sailors who fought for Britain. For Sea Cadets Offshore, it’s a chance to celebrate our maritime heritage, honour those who came before us, and continue the proud traditions of seamanship, teamwork and life at sea. 🌊⛵

⚓🇬🇧 Remembering a Fantastic District Trafalgar Day Parade🇬🇧⚓

Today, we were proud to stand alongside fellow Sea Cadets from across Warwickshire as we took part in the annual District Trafalgar Day Parade.

The parade was a wonderful reminder of the values that make the Sea Cadet movement so special: teamwork, respect, discipline and community spirit. Seeing so many young people in uniform, supported by dedicated volunteers, families and supporters, was a credit to every unit involved.

A huge well done to all the cadets who represented their units with pride and professionalism, and thank you to the volunteers and staff whose commitment behind the scenes makes events like this possible. Special thanks to Coventry Sea Cadets and the Warwickshire District Team for organising such a successful and memorable day.

🇬🇧 **A Huge Thank You!** 🇬🇧

What a fantastic day at the **Trafalgar Day Parade**!

A huge thank you to all the cadets, volunteers, staff, parents, families and supporters from Nuneaton and Bedworth Sea Cadets who took part and came along to support today's event. Your enthusiasm, commitment and pride made the day truly special, and it was wonderful to see our unit so well represented.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Coventry Sea Cadet and the Warwickshire District Team for their hard work, organisation and support in delivering such a successful event. These occasions are only possible through the dedication of so many people working together, and today was a brilliant example of that teamwork in action.

Thank you all for helping to uphold the traditions of the Sea Cadets and making the day such a memorable one. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved.

For our cadets participating please remember to :

✅ Ensure your uniform is clean, pressed and ready for inspection
✅ Arrive on time and prepared
✅ Be respectful and bring that cadet spirit

🎺🥁 Early start band practice! 🇬🇧⚓

It was an early Saturday morning for the Nuneaton and Bedworth Sea Cadets Band as they came together for practice ahead of the upcoming District Trafalgar Day Parade.

A huge well done to all the cadets and volunteers who gave up part of their weekend to prepare. We can't wait to see the band in action on parade! 👏
