It's all change at the Rose (again)

Was going to film a whole video for this but my voice is gone, so please read this whole post!!! It's crazy important!!!

I am officially only at the Rose for the next 7 days. Marstons and me have made the decision to change some things up, and I'm moving on to another pub with the company I'm really excited to be running! More details on that soon, but in essence, I'll be gone by this time next week. The new landlord and landlady will be in soon, and they're an absolutely wonderful couple of folks I'm really happy I've met and am trusting with the Rose moving forward.

There's still plenty of things going on here for my last week! I'm running my last pub quiz here this Friday, Blood on the Clocktower Sunday and Board Game Monday. However, on Saturday night from 6pm onwards I'll be on the right side of the bar having a few drinks, so come and hang out if you fancy and we'll have a chat.

More details to come about the changeover soon but for now, let's make this last week an amazing one. Love you all!

It's all happening at the C**k

Historic Leicestershire pub is coming back to life 🍻

After seven years behind closed doors, The C**k Inn in Sibson is set to reopen following a £480,000 investment from Star Pubs and new licensee Jason Billingham.

Dating back to the 1250s and rumoured to have once been a hideout for Dick Turpin, this Grade II listed, thatched roof pub is getting a sympathetic makeover that will bring it back to its former glory while keeping its character and charm.

Jason, who successfully relaunched The Wheel at Ticknall earlier this year after a five-year closure, is looking forward to restoring The C**k Inn as a hub for the village.

The pub is expected to reopen by late November, just in time for its first Christmas in seven years 🎄
