On 29th January, we were invited to Talking Therapies, Nuneaton, to see the epic mural painted by our very own Team 222 member, Violet.

It was officially unveiled by none other than Nuneaton's Mayor, Cllr Bhin Saru who, like us, was absolutely stunned by Violet's talent.

We knew we had a budding Picasso on our team, but this was next level.

Violet, you're a star in the making.

Tomorrow is the day our Sebe emigrates to Australia with his lovely family.

Sebe completed the Team Programme twice and then came back in the assistant role helping us over a couple of Teams.

His mum, the lovely Lisa. also gave her time to our programme to deliver mental health sessions which were so helpful.

We wish Sebe and family all the best in their new life in Oz. I'm sure the sunshine will help ease any homesickness!

Thanks for all your help, Sebe.

Very sad day today, today is my last day with the King’s Trust. I take up a new role at the YMCA on Tuesday. I am very excited and looking forward to new challenges, but very sad to be leaving the King’s Trust. There has been some amazing success stories and hopefully more to come. This programme is amazing for young people in the Nuneaton area and I’ll be keeping an eye on the programme from afar. My work phone broke over Christmas and unfortunately hadn’t been fixed in time. So if I haven’t been able to contact you, thank you and all the best.

Wow what a transformation. All ready for Team 223.

Week 11
Day 5

Today was a very special day. We celebrated Sebe’s 21st Birthday.

Sebe has been on the programme previously and came back to volunteer before he starts a new life in Australia. Sebe is very popular with the students due to his unique fashion, sense of humour and his love for Nintendo switch.

Week 11
Day 4

Today the team was at Nuneaton Methodist Church along with the Doorway team. We got together and cooked up some great food. We did pepper and bean chilli, tomato soup and lentil soup 😀. We also introduced the Doorway service users to some of our favourite games Mafia and P for Pizza.
