If you’ve spotted a guinea pig or a pair of piggies featured on our page who have stolen your heart, and you'd like to find out more about our adoption process, please take a moment to read our adoption information on our website and complete our Adoption Request Form.

📩 What happens next?

Once we receive your request, we’ll review it and get back to you by email. Please check your spam and junk folders too. We don’t want you to miss our reply if it accidentally ends up there.

💕 A little note about applications
We often receive multiple applications for the same piggie or pair of piggies. We carefully consider each application to find the most suitable home for them, so please don't be offended or disheartened if you aren't chosen this time. It doesn't mean you wouldn't make a wonderful guinea pig owner; sometimes we simply have to make a difficult decision based on the individual needs of our piggies.

Thank you for considering adopting a rescue piggie and giving them the chance of a loving, forever home. 💕 Every adoption helps us continue our rescue work and make a difference to more guinea pigs in need.

While Little Garden Farm continues to rehome guinea pigs where appropriate, we are now primarily focused on providing lifelong sanctuary care for guinea pigs in need. This means we have fewer guinea pigs available for adoption than in previous years.

💔 Sleep peacefully, our lovely Greg o’ Potamus 💔

It’s with very heavy hearts that we share the sad news that our beautiful skinny pig, Greg o’ Potamus, has sadly passed away. 🌈💕

We have absolutely no idea what happened. Greg was happily eating this morning, and we had no reason to think anything was wrong. It’s always such a shock when one of our precious piggies leaves us so suddenly, and we’re heartbroken that he’s no longer with us.

Skinny pigs hold such a special place in our hearts, and Greg was no exception. 💕 We wish we knew why this had happened, but sadly, sometimes we just don’t get the answers we desperately want.

Run free over the rainbow bridge, gorgeous boy. 🌈 You were loved, and you will be missed more than words can say.

Handy Products We Use at Little Garden Farm Guinea Pig Rescue 🙂

We've recently purchased some more of these handy mats from Amazon, and we thought we'd share them with you.

We use them underneath softer p*e pads and bath mats in some of our enclosures. They help stop the softer mats from slipping around when our piggies are running about and popcorning, plus they provide an extra layer of absorbency. 💧

They're also nice and thin, so we can fit quite a few in the washing machine at once, always a bonus when you're dealing with rescue laundry.🧺😂

🎄 VOLUNTEERS & HELPERS NEEDED
for our Festive Fundraiser🎄

Our Piggies & Prickles Festive Fundraiser is fast approaching, and we need your help to make it our best event yet. 🎄

We're raising funds for Little Garden Farm Guinea Pig Rescue and Hedgepigs Hedgehog Rescue, and there are lots of ways you can get involved, whether you can join us on the day or support us from home.

📅 Sunday 22nd November
📍 Greenwood Community Centre, Toton
⏰ 10am–2pm

🌟 CAN YOU HELP ON THE DAY? 🌟

We're looking for volunteers to help with:
🎟️ Raffle and tombola stalls
🎁 Helping on our fundraising stalls
🛍️ Supporting our stallholders
✨ Setting up before the event and tidying away afterwards

Even if you can only spare an hour, we'd be incredibly grateful!
