π Diabetes Week π
This Diabetes Week, Bulwell and Top Valley PCN is helping raise awareness of diabetes and the importance of support, education, and healthy living for everyone affected by the condition.
Living with diabetes can feel challenging at times, but no one has to manage it alone. The monthly Diabetes Peer Support Group offers a welcoming space for people to connect, share experiences, learn more about managing diabetes, and support one another π€
π
They meet on the fourth Thursday of each month, 2-4pm at Mellish Sports Centre, Bulwell, NG6 9FH and regularly have guest speakers sharing their knowledge and expertise.
There are also many fantastic organisations providing advice, guidance, and support for people living with diabetes, including:
π Diabetes UK
π NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme
π JDRF UK
π Nottinghamshire Diabetes Services
π Local community wellbeing and healthy lifestyle programmes
