Chairman's Chat: November 2026
I hope those of you who attended the recent AGM at Northampton Girls School enjoyed the evening. For me it represents what we are all about, getting together, sharing knowledge, renewing friendships, or making new ones, and enjoying such inspiring speakers!
Now we start thinking about next year’s event. With that in mind, we are including in this issue a link to a questionnaire to see what your preferences are for holding 2027’s AGM - daytime, evening, weekday or weekend….which would you choose? It’s important we get it right and create a fun and informative event for you all so please make sure you complete the questionnaire. All replies are anonymous.
We also have lots to look forward to with seasonal events and activities which we hope you will support.
If you were at the AGM or have read my recent articles you will know we still need members to join the Federation committees. As we look forward to 2027 we are looking at ways we can attract more members through our continued networking, as well as increasing our profile across the county. Is this something that interests you, or do you have family or friends, contacts in companies, businesses, or areas that may support our endeavours? If so please let us know.
I hope to see you at some of the forthcoming Federation events, and don’t forget if you have an idea for an event or activities you think we can organise do let us know.
