In March, we warned the UK Government and Northern Ireland Executive that cuts to the Local Growth Fund would have severe consequences.

8331 people have now lost support to vital services and 282 dedicated staff who have spent years supporting communities across NI have lost their jobs.

But this is about much more than figures.

It's about the person accessing mental health and employment support when they need it most. The family relying on local services to stay connected and resilient. The dedicated staff who are there every day for people who need their support.

We cannot allow community services to continue bearing the cost.

NICVA's latest report on the impact of the Local Growth Fund cuts across Northern Ireland can be read here- https://www.nicva.org/resource/capturing-the-impact-of-local-growth-fund-cuts
