We would like to give a massive Thank You to Year 11 at Nendrum College Comber who organised a football tournament and tuck shop and raised £252.64 for Marie Curie - Northern Ireland. We really appreciate your efforts.

This week is Volunteers’ Week and we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our fantastic Marie Curie volunteers who support our work across Northern Ireland ⭐️

We hosted some of our volunteers at the hospice yesterday for a fun afternoon with a quiz and BBQ, and to hear from some of our staff about the impact of their efforts.

We’re so lucky to have so many volunteers who are passionate about what we do at Marie Curie - we couldn’t do what we do without you! 🌼

Thank you once again to all of our volunteers, you are incredible! 💛

"Television is a great form of escapism for me. It helps take my mind off everything for a while and I just get lost in the story, so it’s a good way to switch off from whatever else may be going on. Because of my health, I don’t get out as much as I used to, so it gives me something to talk about with the Nurses or when I have visitors, too. Meeting some of the Blue Lights cast in person was a real treat. I love the show, the characters, and the fact that it’s based in NI makes it so relatable. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the new series.” - Simon, who is living with a parotid gland tumour, was overjoyed when stars from BBC police drama, Blue Lights, visited our Belfast hospice last week

Our good friends in the craft class of Strean Presbyterian Church are running a Coffee Morning tomorrow in support of Marie Curie. It would be great if you are able to support them.

All welcome to the Welcome Area tomorrow for a coffee morning from 10am. Hosted by our craft class, all proceeds are for Marie Curie
