🌟 CHIEF SCOUT’S ACORN AWARD & MOVING ON CELEBRATION 🌟
What an incredibly special evening for our Drey! 🥹🐿️
A huge congratulations to William, Poppy, Alanna, Bella-Mae, Sebastian, Matthew and Harry, who have all earned the Chief Scout’s Acorn Award – the highest award a Squirrel can achieve! 🎉🏅
They’ve worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, completing all 4 Challenge Badges and 2 Activity Badges. Their dedication, enthusiasm and determination have been wonderful to see, and we’re so proud of everything they have achieved. 👏🏻
Tonight was made even more special as many of our Squirrels also received their Moving On Badge and certificate as they prepare to begin their next adventure in Beavers. 🦫✨
A massive well done to Charlotte, Caleb, Matthew, Sebastian, William, Harry, Alanna, Poppy and Bella-Mae. Watching each of them grow over their time in Squirrels has been an absolute privilege.
❤️ Charlotte has always been in a league of her own. Nothing ever seems to stop her, and she’s always made sure everyone around her feels included and welcome. Following in the footsteps of her brother Christopher, who is now in Cubs, Charlotte has been more than ready for Beavers for quite some time. Her confidence, determination and many talents shine through in everything she does, and we know she’ll thrive in her next section.
🧡 Caleb joined us as a very shy Squirrel, but we’ve loved watching his confidence grow. One of the biggest changes we’ve seen is in his communication, learning to use his words more confidently and express himself. He’s become much more willing to join in and take part in activities, and we’re incredibly proud of how far he’s come.
💛 Matthew is endlessly curious and always eager to learn. He’s full of questions and loves discovering new things, bringing enthusiasm to every session. Whether he’s finding out how something works or learning a new skill, Matthew is always keen to know more. We can’t wait to see where his curiosity takes him next.
💚 Sebastian has only been with us for a year, but he quickly became a valued member of our Drey. He throws himself into every activity with enthusiasm and is always keen to get stuck in. In a short space of time, he’s made a lasting impression on both the leaders and his fellow Squirrels.
💙 William is full of character and never short of energy. He has certainly kept us on our toes throughout his time in Squirrels and has made his mark on the Drey in his own unique way. Whether joining in games, sharing a joke or throwing himself into activities, William always brings plenty of personality to our sessions. We’re proud of everything he has achieved and can’t wait to see what adventures await him in Beavers.
💜 Harry has grown so much in confidence during his time with us. He always arrives with a smile on his face and his cheerful personality brightens every meeting. Harry is the third child from his family to come through our Drey, following his brother and sister before him. We’re looking forward to continuing the family connection when we welcome his little sister Emily to Squirrels in September.
🤍 Alanna has only been with us for a year, but she’s made such an impression. Whether arriving with one of her beloved handbags or throwing herself into every activity, she’s brought so much character and enthusiasm to the Drey. Her confidence has continued to grow throughout the year, and she’s made some wonderful memories alongside her best friend Poppy. We know she’ll be a fantastic addition to Beavers.
🩷 Poppy was very shy when she first joined us, but we’ve loved watching her confidence blossom. She has grown into a wonderful member of the group who is always willing to get involved and give things a go. Her friendship with Alanna has been lovely to see, and the pair have shared many adventures together. We’re so proud of how far she’s come.
💕 Bella-Mae has been a wonderful member of our Drey and has brought so much personality to every session. A real girly girl at heart, Bella-Mae always likes to make sure she’s looking her best, no matter what adventure we’re heading off on. One of our favourite memories is when she arrived at our duck pond walk and made sure her lip gloss was on before we set off. It was such a Bella-Mae moment and still makes us smile today.
We are so proud of every single one of you and all that you’ve achieved during your time in Squirrels. Thank you for the memories, laughter and adventures. We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish next as you continue your journey in Beavers! 🦫🩵
