Sonar Presents was built in the mind of Russell Phillips in festival fields because he saw the problems of the music industry encapsulated by musicians travelling far and wide for pittance in return for hopes of getting their music heard.

Sonar Presents was built by humans working the grassroots music scene and out of it came a business that aimed to do better. Since the first idea, the industry has got even more difficult to pave a way forward it because now the competition isn't even all human 🤖

Three and a half years after that initial dream and the Sonar Presents Music Discovery App is being launched next month.

What can you do to help the dream fly high?

👂 Help by telling someone about us

The agenda for Sonar Presents The Music Convention is here 👀 🔥 🎶

Why are we doing this?

To be honest, we get fed up with the same people sponsoring the same old soundbites of bad information at other events promising to do good for musicians. We thought we would use our connections to share genuine insights and networking that could change a music career for the better.

We're working with The Bread & Roses Clapham to bring this event to London, so join us in Clapham on Saturday 14th November.

More information is available via the link in our bio and watch this space for the gig line up announcement too 👀

For just £5 you can come to this day of talks, panels and workshops and stay for the live music 😊 Bring your guitar and your lyrics and award-winning songwriter Tony Moore will share his top tips for hit success. You can go home with a free professional press shot to add to your portfolio too thanks too.

Now we've written it here, it's actually beyond incredible what you can get of out of this day isn't it?

So do yourself a favour and buy your ticket.

Hey songwriter, are you collecting your royalties?

If the answer is yes, you will know how much time it takes to collect what you are owed, let alone the time it takes sending your music to radio, TV and playlist pitching so that your songs get played in the first place.

If the answer is no, you are almost certainly leaving money on the table that is yours for the taking.

There are companies out there that do the hard work for you and we are now one of them!

The difference with us?

We offer no upfront admin fees and a low royalty split.

This is all coming from us, the connected industry professionals paving the way to change the music industry for the better.

Let us help you get what you deserve.

Find out more at www.sonarpresents.com or slide into our DMs and we'll treat you right 😁

The final opener for the last night of our grassroots Rock & Blues tour was Brighton-born indie-folk artist .derry

Izzie's honest songwriting, vulnerable storytelling and the juxtaposition between the sad and the angry, whilst holding the crowd in the click of her fingers was quite something to behold 🫶

Brighton, you can catch Izzie next week on 27 September supporting Australian indie-folk songstress .rumble on her UK tour.
