The Community Council are trying their best to get the bottle banks emptied. Unfortunately the uplift schedule is set by the waste contractor. Please do not leave your bottles behind. It creates a mess and is fly tipping.

If the bottle banks are full, please do not leave your bottles behind. Please take them home with you and come back at a later date. This is fly tipping and the cctv does cover the area.

Get ready for the Tour de France Grand Depart 2027!
Tourism businesses across the Scottish Borders, Midlothian and Dumfries and Galloway can now sign up to a series of digital engagement sessions all about the Tour de France. Each session will have the latest information from the local authorities and key agencies, including on potential support businesses can tap into to make the most of the world’s biggest cycle race.
These sessions are your chance to ask questions, share ideas with other local businesses and, together, work up a collective plan as to how we maximise the benefit to all.
First meeting: Tuesday 8 September, 3-4pm.
