Wolseley Owners Club and Wolseley Forum send their sincere condolences to Linda, Paul, Frances and the fantastic Team at NTG. Mike was an amazing gentleman, so helpful, with passion and enthusiasm. He gave much help and advice to Wolseley Owners Club and Wolseley Forum and was a long time supporter. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. A true professional. You will be hugely missed Mike.

Mike and NTG were long time supporters of the Register. Our condolences to the NTG family.

Obituary for Mike Green of NTG, written by Paul Banyard.
We are sad to report the death of Michael Green, founder of NTG Motor Services, on Wednesday 25th September. Mike passed away peacefully in hospital after a short illness.
Mike co-founded NTG in 1966 and amazingly was still working six days a week in the business until only a month before his death, which came two months before his 85th birthday.
“Mike was a longstanding and highly respected pillar of the MG community,” said Mike’s co-director at NTG Paul Banyard. “Almost no one on the planet knew more than Mike about the early MG models, and in particular the TD series. Mike was always willing and generous with his time to share his knowledge and to give advice to anyone who needed it. Customers and friends relied upon Mike’s encyclopaedic knowledge of these cars, and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Mike was very keen that NTG should continue to trade without him, and the whole team at NTG will ensure we do just that.”
Michael leaves a wife Linda, a daughter Sarah, two step-sons, six step-grandchildren, and numerous work colleagues.
His funeral will be held at Ipswich Crematorium (IP4 2TQ) on Wednesday 16th October at 1:15pm.
Rest in Peace, Mike. And thank you for your lifetime of service to the MG community.

The new, modern, friendly, club for all Wolseley owners and enthusiasts; past, present and future.

The Wolseley Owners Club is open to anybody who has an interest in these great British classic cars, there is no need to own a Wolseley. Our objectives are to raise awareness of Wolseleys and help to preserve the Wolseley marque, along with other Wolseley clubs and associations. The Wolseley Owners Club’s emphasis is firmly on its members. The Club caters for all models of Wolseleys from the first Wolseley of 1896 to the very last Wolseley, designed by our Club Patron, Harris Mann, of 1975.

The Club is going from strength to strength and is run by a dedicated team. It has local Area Contacts and Model Contacts who are all here to assist our members. In addition to our website - www.WolseleyOwnersClub.com, members have access to the largest online Wolseley community forum in the world with over 3,500 members – Wolseley Forum. There are many other benefits to joining the Wolseley Owners Club – practical, social and miscellaneous.

The Club maintains a ‘Survivors List’, this is a register of all surviving Wolseleys known to the Club. Information from this list can be provided to individual members researching the history of their Wolseley. The Club offers members a free valuation service for their Wolseley for ‘agreed-value’ insurance purposes.
