Our aim is to support residents of New Mills and the surrounding areas by providing a range of affordable & accessible support services and activities for local individuals & families.

We have X4 packs of Nutmeg newborn size 0 (2-5lb) nappies and X4 packs of Mamia size 1 (4-11lb) nappies free if anyone needs any!

They're inside New Mills Emporium at 12 Union Road, New Mills, open today (Wednesday) until 11:30am, tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm.

Please comment or message in advance so I can let you know if we have any left before you come.

Community Pantry open TOMORROW (yes, Wednesday) from 9am-11:30am!!

We have opened on Wednesday for the past two weeks, it has been quite popular so we are going to do it again this week!

We have punnets of strawberries for £1, plus potatoes 🥔 celery, romaine lettuce, green beans, bananas 🍌 tangerines 🍊 lemons 🍋 Lindt chocolate teddies, cupboard staples and lots of toilet roll, kitchen roll, laundry softener and toiletries.

*Please spread the word about tomorrow, we don't want anything going to waste!

Community Pantry OPEN tomorrow (Tuesday) from 9am-5pm.

Punnets of strawberries (400g) for just £1, plus lots of fresh fruit & veg (potatoes, spring onions, pak choi, peppers, celery), cupboard staples and toiletries.

Our pantry is open to everyone, so come in and don't let anything go to waste!

Community outreach:

Our latest initiative to support the New Mills community is to purchase a camera for the Sett Valley Explorers Scout Unit to take with them on their upcoming trip to Switzerland 🇨🇭

This purchase would allow the group to capture footage for their social media pages, and to create a 30-45 minute video of the trip which they would like to share in a formal showing in a cinema for their young people to enjoy viewing on their return!

The only way our organisation can help with these requests is by people shopping at New Mills Emporium and / or by people donating to us whenever you can! We are a not-for-profit organisation, limited by guarantee not shares, so the profits really do go to local initiatives. Please shop at New Mills Emporium to support your local community, and / or donate to New Mills Youth and Community Project CIC however you can - cash, card payment, bank transfer or cheque, no amount is too little - the power of pennies should not be underestimated, they all add up 😆

We're honoured to be able to help out in some way and we hope the scout unit have an amazing time out in Switzerland 🫡 ⚜️

Just a quick reminder that the Community Pantry is OPEN TODAY (Wednesday) from 9am-11:30am. If you want pie and mash for tea tonight then don't go anywhere else as we have lots of minced beef & onion pies and potatoes too! It all needs to go asap.

Community Pantry open TOMORROW (yes, Wednesday) from 9am-11:30am!!

We received some good deliveries yesterday and have leftover stock from today, so after the success of opening last Wednesday morning we are going to do it again this week!

We have cooking bacon (1kg) tempura chicken tenders (300g), minced beef & onion pies (150g), kimchi (900g), OMV! Vegan sausage rolls, plus potatoes 🥔 tomatoes 🍅 mushrooms 🍄 red onions, bananas 🍌 tangerines 🍊 lemons 🍋 Lindt chocolate teddies, cupboard staples and lots of toilet roll, kitchen roll, laundry softener and toiletries.
