You may be wondering why Archie is not turning, it is because a fan on our inverter has stopped working. The inverter detected it and won't start without it (to stop any chance of overheating). There's one on the way, so hopefully not too much longer before we are running again.
Meanwhile, Archie's Angels were out over the weekend weeding and tidying up the site. Thank you Angels.

Torrs Hydro is a Community Benefit Society - a co-operative society. We have over 250 members who bought shares in the society to enable us to build Archie. That was in 2008 and there are a few members who we have lost contact with. Can you help find them? Do you know them, or know anything about them?

Our Community Fund now has a significant sum to invest after several good years of generation. Following discussions at the last two Torrs Hydro AGMs we are very keen to have wider involvement in giving a steer and making recommendations about how the fund is to be used.

As a first step we are therefore inviting our members, volunteers and some wider community representatives to take part a half-day facilitated workshop to explore ideas and options:
