Active Blaby Active Blaby is your local service to help people become more active. We work hard to give people the best choices in local activities to keep them healthy.

Active Blaby helps people increase their activity in a number of ways. We;

- have a website that uses a questionnaire to best understand your behaviour towards activity and attempt to overcome the barriers you face and use your strengths to get more active

- deliver classes for people with limited mobility and health conditions that are run by activity specialists

- support existing physical ac

tivity instructors and sports clubs to be more accessible to everyone by promoting and funding development courses, increasing participation, supporting volunteers and communicate funding opportunities

- work with partners to add activity to their services and use their expertise to enhance our programmes, such as mental health and inclusion

- collect the thought and feelings of our communities to help shape our services to best help you

Menopause Cafe, South Wigston is returning Thursday 25th June. This free, drop-in space will run from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at Elliott Hall.

A Menopause Cafe is a discussion group, open to all ages and genders: no talks, no experts, topics are chosen by participants.

FREE park tennis on Sundays! A Barclays Free Park Tennis session will now take place every Sunday from 10am-11am at Uplands Park, Oadby and is open to all, with coaches on hand to help if you’re looking for advice to up your game.

Pop into the Natter Café on 9th June at 2pm - 3:30pm at Narborough Parish Centre!

Running every 2nd & 4th Tuesday, it’s a friendly space to chat over tea, coffee and biscuits.

Residents of Narborough or Littlethorpe who struggle with mobility can get free pick‑up and drop‑off thanks to The Commbus Project — and the café is completely free to attend.

NEW COURTS, FREE TENNIS at Uplands Park, Oadby🤩 Head down to the free open day and pick up a racket from 10am - 12pm on Sunday 31 May!
🎾 The morning is part of the new weekly Barclays Free Park Tennis sessions, which will then take place every weekend - delivered for free by accredited coaches, with equipment provided.
🎾 Once open, all courts will also be available for members of the public to book for a small fee via www.lta.org.uk/play. The courts are gated to ensure availability.
